Since 2014, CAMEO has partnered with Art League of Baytown to host this Collector’s Show.  It was planned as a five year series of annual exhibits, demonstrating the credibility of art as an investment.  Each exhibit pairs the fine craft of clay art with another three dimensional medium.  In 2014, it was Clay and Textiles; in 2015, it was Clay and Gourds; This year in 2016 it will be Clay and Glass; in 2017, Clay and Wood; in 2018, Clay and Paper.

CAMEO’s fabulous clay teapot collection will be on exhibit plus clay art pieces by Houston area artists which will be on loan from private collections during the month of September.

Glass artists are Gene Hester, Liz Conces Spencer, and Rene Palmer Armstrong.  They will have work of their own plus pieces from their own private collections.

Opening:  Saturday, September 10, 2016,  4 – 6 PM.  Meet the Artists and Collectors.  Public is invited.
